Incredible news! Two of our MS teams participated in the Astro Pi Mission Space Lab from September to February, where they coded a program to calculate the speed of light using sensors on the International Space Station (ISS) powered by Rasberry pi.
Both our teams Futura 1 and Futura 2 have achieved FLIGHT STATUS! This means their code will be run on the ISS between April and May 2025 and the teams will receive their data and official certificates in June.
A huge congratulations to both our teams:
Futura 1 – Punika, Rohan Maheswaran, Sayak, and Shreyan
Futura 2 – Stanislav, Rohan Gore, Revanth, Priyanshu and Divij
They brought together skills, creativity, and enthusiasm, but above all they demonstrated remarkable teamwork throughout the journey. It was truly a pleasure mentoring them and a joy to see them grow with curiosity, perseverance, and passion. This is an incredible achievement to be proud of!
To celebrate this success, ESA Project Astronaut Sławosz Uznański has shared a special video message with our teams to thank them for their participation.
